Our pteria penguin shells are harvested along the northern coast of Australia. The source of most of the mabe, or half pearls, these shells have beautiful luster and nacre throughout the shell. Our skilled artisans in Bali only use the very top grade of shell available to make this custom pendant. The luminescence of the shell contrasts wonderfully with the black outer surface of the shell in this piece.
