Another great example of an emerald cut pink quartz with rutile that was custom cut for us in Brazil . Small rutile needles present in gems are responsible for an optical phenomenon known as asterism. Asteriated gems are known as "star" gems. Star sapphires, star rubies, and other "star" gems are highly prized by gem collectors. This 27.8 carat gem is set in a sterling silver mounting, you can choose your necklace.
