In July of 1715 a fleet of 12 ships left Havana, Cuba headed to Spain and loaded with treasure. Seven days later, near Vero Beach, Florida, the entire fleet disappeared in a hurricane with a loss of over a thousand lives. Miraculously many of their shipmates managed to reach shore, floating on the wreckage of the ships. Their accounts of the storm helped to pinpoint the location of one of the greatest shipwrecks of all time.

In 1963 famous treasurer hunter Mel Fisher began bringing to the surface what was still left in the seas of the treasure of silver and gold cob coins. Even as recently as a few years ago treasure is still found at this famous shipwreck site.

Our silver four reale cob coin recovered from the 1715 fleet site has a bold Spanish cross on the front and the Spanish crest on the reverse. Set in a handcrafted frame of sterling silver, your treasure pendant will arrive on a sterling silver necklace in the length of your choice. Your pendant will arrive with an original Fleet of 1715 Certificate of Authenticity signed by the famous treasure hunter Mel Fisher.
